Need to fill ASAP $675 Brooklyn Feb 1

Brooklyn NY: Sunny room in a 4 BR apartment available February 1. 30 second walk to the G train (close connections to the L and A/C) & buses and 10 min walk to J/M trains. Short walk to groceries, laundromats. Big kitchen, wood floors, nice bathroom. WiFi available. Unfurnished, but a large dresser and a small computer desk are available if you want them. Available to see most evenings.

The three of us living here are all in our mid to late 20s, two girls one guy, VERY CHILL and VERY VERY QUIET!. Roommates all go to bed and get up for work at different hours, so this is crucial. We definitely go out, but never bring the party home, and we expect the same from you :) We are clean and you should be too. Great for student (we are near Pratt).

One month's rent for security first month's rent for a total of 1350 to move in, Feb. 1.
We prefer that you reply via our Craigslist ad, but if for some reason you can't, reply here (replies will be screened). Thanks!

Student seeking room for January.

Dec. 13th, 2009 | 04:41 pm

Hoping to continue my college education at Hunter, the school that does not offer student housing.
Ideally I would like to find something for no more than $600, if that's at all possible. I used to reside in Bushwick, BK, and wouldn't mind going back there, but am open to other locations. Preferably something that isn't an hour commute to school.
About me: 21, female, English major. Quiet, polite, unobtrusive, friendly. I live for films, books, and photography, so that's mostly what I dedicate my time to. I used to live with my boyfriend, so I'm not all that familiar with having strangers for roommates. Hopefully I could come across some likeminded individuals. Any help?

Hey, I'm looking for a place to stay. Ideally something month to month that's furnished. I also want to share the room with my friend. I will never be late with the rent and will be quiet and out of your hair, unless you want me in your hair.

Looking at Brooklyn.

Reposting this because I forget how to edit posts. I promise that usually in life I'm more effective.

Seeking room from approx 1 December

I've posted before but my arrival date is closer now so trying again.

Hi, I'm moving to the USA from Australia for one year. I leave at the end of November, have a place to stay in the short term, and would ideally like to move from there around the 1st of December.

I haven't completely set myself on neighborhood yet so my only "wishes" (which I think everyone has) are to be as central as possible, close to amenities and the subway. I'd prefer a furnished room but it's not a must. I'd like roommates who I could hang-out with as I'm not just coming for work, I want to meet people and have fun.

That's about it, leave a comment if you'd like more information.

In need of a room from the middle/end of August

Hi, I've just been accepted to attend CCNY starting this fall, and I'm in need of a place to stay. I'm an international student and I need a furnished room, preferably around $600/month - not more than $700. I'm not very picky about the locations as long as the neighborhood is decent. I'm thinking Astoria or Harlem or East Harlem or somewhere else cheap and alright, preferably close to or on Manhattan, but as long as it's safe enough I'll mange.

A little info about meCollapse )

It would be cool to be friends with any future roommates, to hang out outside the apartment, but that's not a requirement, I can be private and keep to myself too. I'll need to live with someone who won't mind me having friends stay over night, most of them will be coming from Norway and I don't think they should spend a lot of money on hotels when visiting me.

Contact me if you have any more questions or know of somewhere I can stay.

Looking for a roommate for December...

Hi everybody,

I'm Mel and I'm a 26 year old Australian and will be coming to New York in early December to live and work for a year as a part of a new exchange program. I know this is pretty early, but I haven't ever lived with someone who wasn't already a friend or family before and considering I'll be living in a whole other country, it would be nice to get to know my potential new roommate before I move in. I think this will make the transition a little smoother for me.
